Wow, What Happened To Your Website?

Hey Neighbors!

Lately, there have been many changes to our website. I wanted to take a moment to explain that we are still working out the kinks of our ordering platform. We are going to offer a test run discount on our next menu to anyone who wants to help us test the process.

Now, let's talk website changes!

We decided to switch our ordering process to our own website to bring additional educational opportunities into our homeschool project. This has been a challenge that I am not sure we were prepared for, but God is pulling us through! So grateful to watch this unfold.

Navigate Our Website:

Our menu at the top of the page (and in the hamburger on mobile) will easily navigate you around our website.

Here is an explanation of our website menu -

• HOME is our main page with information about our family and our sourdough cottage bakery (aka our homeschool project). "Home" is really more of an about-us type page, where you get to know the homeschool family behind the bakery.

• SHOP OUR SOURDOUGH is where our food menu and store menu live. This drop-down menu leads you to our "Bakery Pre-Order Menu" and our "Store Page".

  • Bakery Menu — our bakery menu, everything we bake will be posted here. Our bakery sales are by pre-order. When we bake, it is typically a set amount of sourdough loaves, sourdough cookies, sourdough tres leches, sourdough scones, sourdough bars, etc, for our bi-weekly menu drop. Anything left over is then taken out into our community for sale or given away. Occasionally, we will announce a pop-up location for a limited sale (like the Walburg Restaurant or VFW). Have you seen us out and about?

    • ANNOUNCEMENT: My oldest is launching his first bakery creation on Monday, November 10th! So exciting to watch him venture into entrepreneurship with Creme Brulee 🎉

  • Learn Sourdough — our classes and workshops live here. We are incorporating courses for kids and families, sourdough recipe tests, and more. We aim to make sourdough easier and approachable for everyone.

• FAQ: This is the home of answers for the most commonly asked questions we have received and considered. If you think of something not listed, refer to CONTACT US

• LOYALTY: Earn points for purchases and use them for discounts on future purchases. If you have ordered from us on Hotplate, your loyalty balance will be transferred over to this loyalty account. Please give us a few weeks to get this completely set up.

• BLOG: We decided to open up a bit and share G6 Sourdough's story and more about us. Maybe a recipe or two, and discuss how we started using a bakery in our homeschool, and why it is not child labor! 🙈

Pre-Ordering:

Start at the top and select the date and time you wish to pick up your bakery goods. Once you have grabbed a date, scroll down to choose the items you would like to eat. Add them to your cart and complete checkout. This menu will be posted bi-weekly.

• Occasionally, we will drop a limited-time menu. We will send out email and text notifications when we do. Sign up to get notifications!
