There is something special about sourdough. The feel of the dough in your hands, the smell of a loaf baking in the oven, the joy of sharing fresh-baked bread at your own table. At G6 Sourdough, our family believes that everyone can learn the art of sourdough, and we’d love to teach you how.

We started our cottage bakery as a homeschooling project for our family of six. What began as a simple lesson in baking has turned into a passion for community, good food, and teaching others how to bake with confidence. Every loaf and every class is a way for us to share that joy and to welcome neighbors like you into the world of sourdough.

Our In-Person Workshops to Learn Sourdough

👐 Hands-In-Dough Workshops

If you’re ready to get your hands a little floury, our Hands-In-Dough Workshop is a fun and relaxed way to dive in. You’ll mix, feed, fold, and shape your own dough right alongside us, learning the feel and rhythm of true sourdough baking.

November 18th, 5-8 PM

November 22nd, 2-5 PM

Workshops last about three hours, and everyone goes home with the dough they’ve made themselves to bake in their oven and the confidence to bake again and again.

🍞 The Whole Enchilada Workshop

Want the full experience? Our “Whole Sourdough Enchilada” Workshop is our all-inclusive class for those who want to learn and want our sourdough starter kit, filled with all our favorites.

You’ll receive your own living sourdough starter in a jar to take home, detailed instructions, and our sourdough starter kit. Together, we will work through every step of the process - from mixing and shaping to baking and scoring.

This workshop runs about 3½ hours and includes putting your hands in dough, a printed guide, and a few delicious surprises along the way.
