About Our Bakes
-
It was, until our oldest became obsessed with Crème Brûlée. While it was momentarily tragic to be throwated by a traitor you raised.. it suddenly became okay when he delivered amazing goodies, like orange cream and earl grey (yum!). So now we host Kid Creations, so grab them when they pop up, you might never see them again.
As for Sourdough, it is in every item that is listed with sourdough in the name or description. That Sourdough is our cultured bacteria, aka a sourdough starter, aka LOU. She is big, beautiful and sassy, just like my mom! Everything on our menu that says sourdough is made with our live starter or discard. Sourdough Everything isn't just a tagline, we aim to try as make things as we can with our beloved LOU ♥️
-
We do. We mill our own whole and ancient grains into flour in our kitchen. We love using fresh milled flour for delicious flavor and better nutrition.
-
We are not a certified allergen-free kitchen. Please reach out directly for allergy concerns.
Classes & Workshops

No, absolutely not! Beginners and fellow starter-killers are equally welcome. 😉
I taught three teenage boys, and I am confident I can teach you how to be successful with sourdough.
-
A kitchen, basic equipment (we'll send you a list), and enthusiasm to bake it anyway. This is a very important moto of Sourdough bakers… no matter what, bake it anyways because we learn with every bake.
-
Yes! We offer a virtual class with a final meeting via Zoom. We also have in-person workshops at our cottage bakery in Georgetown. We want everyone to learn how to make sourdough bread.
